The Bible has much to say about disunity caused among the people. Most found in Proverbs. It may cause controversy, disputes, fights, discord and divisions among the people. Let us see what causes these problems between groups of people and what we can do about it. This will work in any area of life.
1. In Proverbs 6: 12-19 we have a description of a person who causes discord followed by seven things God hates. Verse 15 says, what happens to people who live this kind of lifestyle.
2. We find in Proverbs 15, 18a that "An angry man stirs up contention."
3. Proverbs 16: 28a we "sow perverted man armed." Tells
4. Proverbs 22:10 says: "Drive out the mocker and disputes should go, yes, strife and reproach shall cease."
5. Proverbs 26:20 tells us, a "slanderer" caused controversy.
6. 28 Sayings 25a says a proud hearted person armed energized.
7. 29 Sayings 22a says an angry man armed excited
So we can see a person's discord caused by strife and divisions has a spiritual problem .. Such a man is a mocker, a slanderers, angry, proud, froward, angry, angry, hateful fully. This person is not happy when people get together. He / she is constantly causing people to fight each other.
This goes on in all walks of life. You see it in community meetings, churches, schools, businesses. There are some people who. A spirit of discord that drives them to bring discord to ethnic groups Perhaps you have seen people like this. You are not happy, if everything goes smoothly. If these people have a hidden agenda, they are bad news for the social order.
God wants us to have an orderly society. He wants this for us in all areas of life. By nature, we are sinning. We are selfish. Our carnal mind warring against God. God had just destroyed all mankind in the great Genesis flood. He rescued a family of eight to the earth to repopulate. It was not long before mankind was again to rebel against God at the Tower of Babel. Right to this hour most people on this planet are warring against God. This contradicts God has brought chaos to many.
In Proverbs 06:19 we read two things that God hates. He says: "A false witness who speaks lies, and he sows discord among brethren." In Luke 22:24 we find the disciples about struts who is going to be the greatest in the kingdom of God. Romans 13:13 tells us that we are to go "honest." We are not going to "rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy." 1 Corinthians 3: 3 tells us that "envy, strife and division" is a sign that we are in the flesh. Galatians 5:20 lists tools on one of the pieces of meat. In Philippians 2: 3 we are exhorted to do nothing by "armed or swagger, but in humility of a eighth the other better than to let." In 1 Timothy 6: 3-6, we are the reason armed shown in the Christian community and what to do. James tells us in James 3:14 that if we "bitter envying and strife" in our "heart" we "should not lie against the truth." Then he tells us in verse 16 that "where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil thing."
There is a solution for all this. If we put away the peace of God in our hearts, what causes us to be in dispute. The only way this will happen is deliverance from sin and sin through the Lord Jesus Christ.
